I'm in my theater room setting the speaker distances for my Adcom Pre- Pro's settings menu. I have a tape measure to verify the first two measurements with your app. My tape measure reads 10 feet 2 inches from my chair. Your app gives me a measurement of 47 feet 1 inch, tried several times without moving EVERY TIME WAS DIFFERENT. and not just little variations. WILDLY different 97' 8", 21' 3" then 64' 0". no there's no glare or shiny objects to reflect or cause any issues. So pretty useless :(

Thanks for feedback! We’d love to help you figure out what’s going wrong. Could you send us a short video showing how you're taking the measurements with the app? It’s possible there’s a specific step/detail affecting the results, and seeing your process will help us better understand and troubleshoot the problem. Our email: support@grymalaltd.com

I originally gave this app 1 star because it wouldn't let me start measuring at all. I got it to start working this time, and it measured one measurement correctly and 6+ more were wrong, sometimes to extreme levels. Partially user error, but the instructions could also be a little clearer and it could be more accurate. I do see the promise and I hope that it can become the amazing tool that I want it to be.

Hi! Wow, thanks for coming back & giving the app another try! 💛 We’re glad it’s at least partially working now. You're right that accuracy and clearer instructions are both areas we need to improve. Some of the errors may be due to setup or angle, but it shouldn’t be that hard to get right. Thanks again for being honest.

$20 USD / month. Are you insane? MAYBE if it were a one time purchase. It'd be cheaper and easier to drive to the hardware store and buy a new tape measure. Kind of neat AR measurements for ballpark measurements but nothing you wouldn't want to remeasure with an actual tool. All of the aggressive UI tricks to hide the core functionality behind "buy premium now!" If anyone is looking to measure something once with this app, viewing your measurements later is a premium feature. Uninstalled.

We are beg to differ. AR Ruler provides quite unique functionality of measuring things size. In many cases AR Ruler has undeniable advantages because it can measure not only polylines, heights, but cubes, circles, cylinders etc. We also have introduced new feature: auto-detection. So, we consider the price quite fair for Premium.

What’s new

We have released the latest version of AR Ruler for measuring space and objects through a smartphone camera.

In this version:
- bug fixed;
- improved interface;
- optimized measurement speed.

We'd love to hear feedback from you at support@grymalaltd.com.
Thank you for choosing our apps for fast measurements.
